Working in Hicksville
Great diverse neighborhood. Center of Long Island! Trains, shopping, parkways all closeby.
Hicksville is the town that you would choose to live in if you had a family or are ready to settle down and retire. It doesn't have much entertainment or liveliness for the youth which is something I would love to see happen in the near future. It's boring for any current teen and young adults now a days so this place needs some more spice and flare!
I enjoy that I am walking distance to just about everything I would need, public transportation, grocery stores, and the mall. The neighborhood itself is safe and easy to raise a family. The education I received in public school was also relatively good. We also have great diversity within the neighborhood and also businesses nearby.
