I like that everything essential is around the corner, like hospitals, grocery stores, gas stations, schools and also bus stops. It is a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are surrounded by nature too, it is a good balance between city and rural. You can be walking safe at night. Neighbors are friendly. We have entertaining places also around, cinema, arcade places, malls. And I like the fact we have libraries in almost every neighborhood so we do not need to go as far to find what we are looking for. We have also some pharmacies around and convenience stores. What I like the most are the parks, it is almost like you find one each block. Either you find one around or you live in between a park. It is comforting to be surrounded by trees and nature, it is a good way to keep you in a good mood, to be connected to your environment. A very important thing is also we have all of the services required in a home like garbage collection, reciclying, heat, etc. We have never had any problem here!

I love the Henrietta area. It is a area where you see a lot of diversity. The Henrietta area has a wide range of food restaurants for families, date nights with your significant other, and entertainment for family and friends. When living in this area there is always something to do and somewhere to explore. I also like the fact that you can always find a gas station just in case you run out of gas or something goes wrong with your vehicle. Over all great place to live. Did i mention the schools and houses are just wonderful!
I have lived in several places throughout Henrietta, including the West Henrietta area. There is not really many dual zoned commercial/residential areas. It seems there are the business strips along route 15, 15A, and all the way down route 252 from the village of Pittsford to the Genesee River. Access to route 390 makes driving around the greater Rochester area easy, and Henrietta has an entrance/exit to the NYS I- 90, so East-West intrastate travel is convenient. The area in general has many family-friendly neighborhoods, with both apartment complex and private homes being available. The public school system is very good and I have personally have been very pleased with my child's experience within it. Our taxes are not as high as other suburbs, but our school system and local government do not lack in services despite this fact. I am happy and content living here.
