Hendersonville Township Reviews
In Hendersonville, North Carolina the people are friendly and welcoming. It is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains which make sunsets breathtaking. There is not much to do in Hendersonville other than going to the small Blue Ridge Mall. However, DuPont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest are just a half hour drive away. Also, the Blue Ridge Parkway is close by. Many people travel 30 minutes to Asheville. North Carolina if they are wanting to get a taste of "city life". South Carolina and Tennessee are also close by. Hendersonville is in a convenient area which makes it feel like there's always something to do. One weekend every year there is an apple festival. People come from many parts of the country to experience the southern hospitality and entertainment.
Hendersonville is large enough to have a variety of places to dine and small enough to run into neighbors or friends somewhere. The natural beauty is everywhere, the fresh air and history of Flat Rock, the open sky with distant mountain views in Mills River, not to forget the woodland mountain side of Laurel Park. We've been blessed to have all these things and more.
It's great I love being just 30 minutes or so from a bigger city while living in a rual community area. There is lots to do nearby in regards to hiking, fishing and other outdoorsy type activities. The people are great and the community is overall a safe place to live.
