Helena Township Reviews
There really aren't many threats as a result of natural disasters. Being in Minnesota there can be some severe thunderstorms or snowstorms. Being prepared for cold weather is imperative! Every summer this is a little flooding along the creek, and every summer slight droughts that can sometimes be bad for the crops, however both are rarely damaging. Every couple years there are threats of tornadoes but never in my history living here have they ever done severe damage. Overall a fairly safe and calm place to live.
There is endless accessibility to both health care and fitness facilities both public and private. Rarely are overweight people seen and there always people on the sports fields, out running, and overall being physically active. A very active community!
I live in the country so don't have a lot of neighbors but the neighbors I do have I am fairly close with; spending time with, babysitting, hosting neighborhood bonfires. The sense of community in this small town is very tightly knit. As a result it is oftentimes difficult for outsiders to become engaged which is one downside of the environment here. However, if there is a community even it is likely that nearly all town members will be attending. In addition the town is full of generations from the same family, it is VERY common for children to come back and raise their own families here-as a result everyone oftentimes appears to be related to everyone else.
