I have lived in Healdsburg my whole life and I will always love it. It is a great town with many opportunities if you can work for it. However, it has become more and more of a tourist town that the peoples town. Prices on everything especially homes have gone through the roof. It is also wine country so wine is everywhere. The town and its people are great though, and extremely supportive of its youth/students. This town could use a change in focus back to the people and not the tourism, but other than that this town and the people within truly are amazing.

I've been living in Healdsburg for 18 years. It's a pretty little town about an hour north from San Francisco with breathtaking views of mountains, wine valleys and everything nature. The only problem is that it's such an expensive town, from rent to restaurants. Plus, this town is more ideal for adults who love wine to come tourist, for the children or even teens, there's nothing really to do other than maybe go on hikes or the river in town.
Healdsburg is a diverse place that almost anything grows here. I live on land with pine trees, oak trees redwoods, fruit and nut trees I live near a private beach where an ecosystem thrives. The birds depend on us for food and water. I live the animals here so much I enrolled in Environmental Policy.

Becuase the Russian River is an agriculture based area, it has pesticide runoff and pharmaceutical runoff. I spend a lot of time observing the ecosystem.
