Hazelwood is a great place to live, some parts of the St. Louis county is very quiet and family orientated, but there are areas that are very industrial. When you are driving through the area you can see several new buildings going up for potential warehouses. I feel more money should be put into the police department and the fire department so that they can have the same upgraded equipment as the surrounding counties. I also think the police and firemen and women should live in the communities they serve.
Living in Hazelwood has shown me the positives of a community that comes together an support each other. As a community member, we focus intensely on giving back through service projects and more. People who live in Hazelwood are friendly and really produce a family-oriented environment. Products of our Hazelwood School District have also assisted actively in the community to make our town a nice place worth living.
I love all the amazing people who I have met over the years, and still talk to today. Many having gone or going to the same school as me, letting us go to clubs together.
