Hazel Dell is a wonderful part of Vancouver, WA. Vancouver Lake is near by as is a great variety of shopping. The schools in all of Vancouver are great and very tech oriented. My one big complaint is for the area in general. Cost of living is very expensive throughout the Pacific Northwest. Other than that, Hazel Dell is a great place that has bike trails, bike lanes, and sidewalks to encourage walking.

I have grown up in Hazel Dell and love the community, the nature trails and the many parks. One of the best things about living in Hazel Dell is how involved people are. People from around the community come out to the local high school basketball and football games. Along with supporting youth athletics, the community is active in volunteer programs to preserve local parks and trails. That is another thing about Hazel Dell that I love. There is a plethora of beautiful parks and trails that are great for outdoor activity.
Hazel Dell is in the unincorporated area of Vancouver WA, it is a growing community, and there are a lot of really nice places to see here. There are several businesses, restaurants, and stores, most are family owned. I really enjoy this area because this is where I plan to open my restaurant when I finish school.
