Hazard is a very quaint little town located in the Eastern, Kentucky. While the town is very quite with not many indoor activities to do, it gives you the chance to get outdoors. Hiking is something that we LOVE in Hazard. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help out. This will soon, become your favorite home away from home!

Hazard is a very small town. In some ways, I enjoy living in a small area, but in other ways, it can be smothering and boring. I like knowing that if I am ever in need, I can find someone who knows me and will help me. It is very easy to meet people and make connections. I do not like how everyone knows everything. If anything happens in my life, the entire community knows or wants to find out more information. Also, where Hazard is such a small town, there are not many activities. We are limited to one movie theater for entertainment.
I live in a small, friendly, and comfortable town; where everyone comes together in times of need. My town being so small is absolutely my favorite part, because everyone is there for one another and wants the best for each other. However the town being so small also has it's downsides like on Friday nights when there's no longer football, we have nothing to do. This has made my town unique though because we have small places that mean a lot to us. From little family diners that are open all around the clock, to places where kids just always meet up to hang out. I believe it's the little things that mean the most.
