Haymarket Reviews

I have lived here all my life, it is a very nice place and has a growing market of homes being built here. There is nature and hiking trails, many places to eat well and is a safe neighborhood. The community is close knit and here are many activities available here for children such as the swim team among other sports. The schools here are also very nice and has amazing staffing. I have gone to Alvey Elementary, Ronal Reagan Middle (the first year it was built as well!) and Battlefield High. Overall there is very little to complain about Haymarket, it truly is a great place with people who listen when there needs to be a change. For example, a tragic accident took place where a student from Battlefield was hit by a car on the highway. Now you can see many signs telling people to slow down and school zone signs as well. They acted quick after receiving backlash and now we have safer measures in place for both children and adults. It is things like this that make me have hope!
I lived here with my family while I was in high school and through my undergraduate degree. I loved the experience as Haymarket provided a busy environment with activities all around to be involved in. I attended Park Valley Church and was a devoted volunteer with the church, I worked at Chick-fil-A which provided a great avenue to learn customer service skills. I got my foot in the door in dentistry (my chosen career path) thanks to multiple businesses that opened their doors to me and offered employment and training. I enjoyed some of the many fitness facilities in the Haymarket area, and I regularly spent time with friends in the Gateway shopping center. Haymarket offers everything needed to have a satisfied living experience, and I am thankful for my time in Haymarket for setting my life in a direction I can be proud of.
Haymarket is a fantastic town! Extremely family friendly, with nonexistent crime and amazing schools. Also, it's more affordable than you'd think a NOVA suburb would be. The best suburban living has to offer!
