Hayesville Reviews
Rating 3.42 out of 5 12 reviews
Quite, friendly and affordable. The capital is always upgrading and improving the metro area. Great food and outdoor activities.
I live in the hayesville area of Salem. Close to Hammond grade school and Adam Stephens elementary school. I’ve lived in this 14 years and have great neighbors. I can walk in my neighborhood with no problems. Close knit neighborhood! Love it!
Even though this end of Salem is generally considered the not-so-good end, we have had a mostly good experience here. Recently someone has gone through our cars when we left them unlocked and stole our (very much neglected since we have smartphones) GPS, but that is the only negative experience we have had here. The mail boxes are locked, which is very good. The street we live on is a loop and very safe and quiet. The kids can ride their bikes in the street or play ball and are very safe. I love the convenience of so many stores within a few minutes' drive, and I've had the opportunity to earn some money doing deliveries with apps like Postmates and Instacart, so that is a good thing for me too. We do plan to move from here eventually when we can find a house to buy, but for now I'm content.
