I have grown up in Hayesville, it's my hometown. It's beautiful and small. You can't beat the mountains. Most of the time people are friendly, but one thing I would like to see is more diversity.
It is beautiful, peaceful and has all your basics in life. Wish the hospital provided for all surgeries needed; instead of having to go to Sylva or Asheville.
I hate it here there’s nothing to do ever on the weekends and the school is crap they don’t care if you get bullied or anything
Living in Hicksville, NY and finding a place like this to move and raise our kids was the best thing I've ever done. The town is passionate and loving and supportive of its own. Schools full of teachers who give their all for the kids they love and teach. Businesses that care about their customers more for who they are than how much they spend. It is a truly special place with the most colorful and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
It’s a beautiful town in the Mountains of western North Carolina. We love the views and the lake here.
Hayesville is a small rural town in Clay County North Carolina. It is a wonderful place to raise a family or retire.
Placed #4 in Reader Digests Friendlies places to live in America! And with good reason. You can't stop smiling if you live here. Mountains, lakes, 2 hrs to Atlanta, Asheville and Chattanooga great cost of living and the nicest people on earth.
Its a small town nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina. This town has beautiful rivers and creeks, a few stores, a farmers market.
I like my small town. I would like to see more dining options though. if you like outdoor activities like fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking and white water rafting this is the spot
It is a very beautiful place to live with the lake and mountains with lots of summer activities on the water. However, I would love to see more restaurants open up and more things to do for kids/ teenagers on the weekends.
