Working in Hayden
Hayden is a great little town in North Idaho. It is not very populated, and has plenty of things to do. If you want to go shopping, Spokane and Downtown Coeur d'Alene are only minutes away. There are several shooting ranges and plenty of areas to hunt for those who enjoy that. There is very little crime in our area. Many of the business owners in the area are very friendly and are a pleasure to do business with. Hayden is located near the woods, so many neighborhoods get to enjoy seeing wild turkeys and deer wandering though their yard. There is not much I would want to change. My only wish is for Hayden to stay a small sleepy town.
I'm new to Hayden, Idaho, but find it very welcoming and family friendly. I have children in elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am not completely satisfied with the schools just yet, but again, am new. I feel the housing is over priced. There is a beautiful lake nearby, lots of outdoorsy things to do, and a very well maintained trail for walking and bicycling. Hayden is just far enough from a bigger city to have the small town feel, but close enough to not feel cut off.
Hayden is a nice, small town with charm. It has a nice community beach with a lifeguard on duty during the summer, a fantastic Parks and Recreation program, and many community events. It has an old-fashioned atmosphere and does not boast a face-paced lifestyle. With the National Forest minutes away, a hiking trail or campground awaits you!
