This area is very peaceful and quiet. It's also pretty secluded where I live, but it's still close enough to the town area for easy access to stores.

Quakertown PA has a major freeway cutting into the outskirts of town. This lends itself to an abundant of fastfood chains, furniture stores, automotive stores... Also close by are a good sort of smaller towns that offer varied stores.
There are a slew of chain stores and restaurants in this town that cater to the norm...very little variety or options for unique shopping. Those smaller stores are downtown and struggle to stay afloat because of the major chains. This area is quite provincial with lots of middle class families who enjoy the convenience and savings at the chains. There are few entertainment options for kids other than movies and bowling.
