Havre de Grace is a cute small town by the water, providing many beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay. Downtown HDG is a quiet small town area with lots of history! It's the perfect place to take a stroll by the water and learn a little while you're at it. A popular attraction is the Concord Point Lighthouse, which is right by the Promenade boardwalk. There's plenty of cute antique shops, lunch and dinner spots, and coffee shops as you walk around downtown. It's the perfect small town feel.
It has such a hallmark small town feel. For the most part everyone is so friendly. Awesome trails to hike on one end of town and a water front promenade(boardwalk) at the other end. Up-to-date playgrounds and they largest one is handicap friendly. And the food! So great! Just about anywhere you choose to go you will not be disappointed. There's a coffee shop downtown that has such a friendly atmosphere- fire/EMS/police stop by there every chance they get and dog lovers? Yes, you can bring your friendly pooch inside. Almost every holiday there's a parade and during the warmer months almost every weekend you can probably find one of the fire houses cooking their AMAZING pitbeef! I could just go on and on about this beautiful town.
As the years go by Havre De Grace is getting pretty diverse, and I lived here by whole life and really enjoy it. 6 of my teachers at Havre de Grace Highschool all graduated and came back to Havre de Grace so thats how much they enjoy it here!
