From living in this growing city my whole life, I know that Hattiesburg is a very special place. There are numerous restaurants, well priced, that offers all kinds of cuisines. Several events take place throughout the week such as festivals, sporting events, fundraisers, burlesque shows, opera, wine tastings, and much more. Since it's a University Town, home of Southern Miss, the night life has much to offer. The residents of Hattiesburg are kind, well mannered Southern folks. I love this city!

Being that I am a former resident of Hattiesburg, I truly believe it has many things to offer, such as educational and career opportunities. I'd give this community a solid 4 stars because no place is perfect, can be extremely hot and the closest beach is about two hours away! Other than that, i would recommend residency in Hattiesburg. Hattiesburg is also known for having tight authority, therefore safety is rarely ever an issue.
Since living in Hattiesburg, MS, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The people are friendly, and it is just simply AMAZING! I love being apart of such a loving and supportive city. The attractions are short of Amazing and I would recommend anyone to live here. My son and I have had many memories here that we will always cherish forever. I came from a small town called State Line and Hattiesburg is much bigger. Also, I have met some wonderful friends that will forever hold a special place in my heart!
