Hatfield is really an awesome neighborhood. It might be small, but we have lots of history behind us. Did you know K'nex are made right here in Hatfield? Did you know the North Pennsylvania Railroad (the namesake for the North Penn Area) had a line that passed right through the Hatfield borough? Did you know, Brooks Instrument, a semiconductor company that made computer chips for NASA is headquartered right here? Our schools are awesome, as an alum of Pennfield middle school, the teachers are amazing, they genuinely care, and you get introduced to new viewpoints and modes of thinking. The area itself has a small shopping strip, everything is close by, like I could literally bike to get groceries at Shoprite, the local eats are pretty nice, like Salter's and the community is very close knit, you will find so many friendly, open people. I recommend Hatfield for anyone that's considering to move into the area.
I have spent almost my entire life in Hatfield. Despite the development that is happening to the area it still has that nice small town feel to it. There's plenty of shopping, and wonderful schools with in a 5 minute drive in every direction. It's location is close to the entrance of the Northeast Extension of I-76 which allows for quick trips into both the greater Philadelphia and Allentown areas.
