Typically a safe city depending on where you live at, sometimes there is bad traffic on manhattan which needs an better way of getting around it without having to go far out of the way. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby, as well as food options. No fun activities for kids besides the movie theater which is closed due to covid. Besides that’s it’s a good quite place to live in.
Nice city and has amenities around. This city is a suburb of New Orleans. There are good properties here and minutes away from the city. There are plenty things to do, park wise and other civic organizations for citizens to join. I've lived in this city off and on a good bit of my life. I am a current resident again of the city for over two years. There are other cities in the New Orleans area, but this city is well liked by many who have lived there for many years. One of my plans is to hopefully buy a house in this city.
Harvey is an awesome place to live because of the culture, food, place of bussinesses and schools. In harvey there are different neighborhoods that have their own activities. The community pool is also an awesome place to relax with friends on a hot summer day. Harvey is very unique in which a tunnel was built under water called the harvey tunnel canal. The overpass is extremely tall in which has a great view of the city at it's peak.
