I have lived in Harvard, Illinois all my life. I attended school here, made friends, here, have family here, and most importantly I love it here. Harvard is a small town full with potential. It's not the biggest but it's beautiful in my eyes. I've had nothing but good memories of Harvard. When I move for school I'm certain I'll miss my little town. Most people are extremely friendly and are always willing to help when you are need. The schools aren't the "nicest" compared to surrounding towns but you don't need nice things to be great.

As a current resident in Harvard, Illinois I believe that there should be some changes done within the community. Harvard has been growing throughout the years yet everything has stayed the same. I think there should be more opportunities for students to learn outside of school to better themselves and get them ready for college. Not many students have the technology at home to do their work. Although there is a public library there isn't much to it but a couple of computers. This is one of the main topics I like to talk about.
Harvard is my cute little hometown. I loved growing up in Harvard, Illinois because I was educated on the importance of accepting diversity. I feel like we live in a world where our differences are often considered flaws but after growing up in Harvard, I feel that I'm at an advantage for having been exposed to such a diverse community.
