I love Hartsville, SC! The local college brings people from all over to experience the little town. There is nothing better than a community having a home town feel when you enter the town. Any and everyone can fit right in and feel like they are apart of each others lives.

Quiet, comfortable. Love the town and the friendly people. New fun amazing water park built, some good places to shop. Lots of outdoor things to do, parks for the kids to run around. School system isnt the greatest but the teachers care very much about their students. Great place to raise a family.
The town is typically a Southern Style with a simple grace and slow pace. The downtown business district has grown. The sights are pleasant and has some historic interest. A private university resides in the small town, Coker College. Its a great school. Located right by the college is the Governors School of Mathematics and Science. The industry to work in the area is the following: Sonoco, Duke Power, Tally Metals and many small businesses run by owners which reside in the town. Shopping is at a minimal but with Florence, and Charlotte only a small drive away makes for a nice day trip. It is a great town to live and is and forever growing. I like my little town.
