Working in Hartland
Fantastic place to raise a family. Never at a loss for outdoor activities. Plenty of new restaurants in the nearby area. Schools are good and you can decide where to send your child to high school which is an enormous perk. Two hours from Boston, two hours from Burlington, 3 hours from Montreal. Two to 1.5 to 2.5 hours from 4 airports. Not a very culturally diverse area of New England but more so than 10 years ago. Country living with all the amenities.
My experience in Hartland has certainly had a positive influence on my future. I have met friends, made a positive and lasting impact on the community and have connections that will be with me for the rest of my life. The people are friendly and, being a small town, I know many community members and feel comfortable with the people around me. The school system is a thriving, very driven and hopeful school with the clear intention of getting children ready for High School.
I lived in the town of Hartland for many years. The public elementary/middle school was amazing. The teachers were so nice and friendly, they make sure the children feel loved. I would like to see more diversity though.
