I liked the town and the people within it, very safe town and very close to Charlotte with a standard commute to the surrounding towns and areas. I enjoyed the safety from the police presence in the areas around the schools. Very good town.

Overall, Concord is an evolving area to live in. I have lived here my entire life and have witnessed the growth and potential this city has to offer. The atmosphere is genuine and welcoming. The people who occupy this area are very inviting and want people to come and live here so they can experience the city they have grown up in and come to love. This area compared to anywhere else in the country, I would give it a 9. Depending on what you are looking for this area is close to several major cities like Charlotte, Greensboro and about an hour from South Carolina. It has great weather, I think the best in the country because it is not too hot or too cold and we rarely get hurricanes or disastrous weather. It will give you a country feel but at the same time a feel that there is growth and a modern area to Concord. I would recommend this area to anyone but for me personally, I would love to experience a new place with different people.
Concord, North Carolina does a great job at making sure we at residents and citizens feel safe. They are always out and about and available to talk to and see. The local police and Fire department go to schools often to do safety lessons and show children their job tasks and how it really feels to be a person of protection. The crime here in Concord is very slim. It may have to do with the population here because the majority is older people who have lived there, their whole life. I do however have a concern considering the community is growing and more people are wanting to live there since it is such a great place, that the crime rate will increase slightly. This is only a minor concern for me because I know that the police and fire department will do a great job at handling this issue when and if it comes about.
