I love living in Happy Valley, Oregon. It's peaceful, quiet, clean and safe. Plus, it's really beautiful! There are several places that I enjoy going to. We're just a few miles away from food carts, hiking, shopping and excellent medical care. I have met a lot of friendly and wonderful people. Happy Valley is very family-oriented; it's a lovely place to raise a family. The only thing I would change about Happy Valley is the amount of diversity. I wish there was more of a range; that's the reason I rated it as very good and not excellent.

Happy Valley is a very calm and safe neighborhood for families. It is not very busy, but there is always something to do, like the shopping mall five minutes away, a community pool, and numerous restaurants along the way. There are also many choices of elementary and middle schools in this area, all of which are close to one’s house or neighborhood. Within these schools there are many sports available. However with its safety and new popularity it has begun to become very crowded.
Happy Valley is one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Oregon. People are flocking here and for good reason. First of all it is a beautiful place to live. It was built up with community in mind. For starters we have a wonderful park that is the heart of of our community. The schools are great. Neighborhoods are all interconnected with trail systems and there are some great nature paths where you can literally walk in the woods without having to drive to the mountain. We are located just 45 minutes from Mt. Hood and an hour and a half from Oregon Beaches. We a short ride to downtown Portland that has a rich artistic culture. Happy Valley is a happy place to live!
