Hapeville is a quaint town located 2 miles North East of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. East of College Park and East Point, GA. It is 1 city that makes up the "Tri Cities" area of East Point. College Park. and Hapeville. GA. Hapeville is home to the original Chic Fil A Dwarf House which serviced the surrounding ATL community for over 70 years. Shops, cafes, and bars line the main streets that promote a brisk atmosphere Monday through Saturday. Sundays however, are a complete 180. Most of everything is closed and it's as sleepy as Cooter Brown, typical of a Southern Sunday in a small town. The city is in the process of constructing a state of the art library and expanding its lush City Park with a outdoor skate board facility. If they would only pass a noise ordinance for the God forsaken trains that pass through in the dead of night blaring at 200 dbl like the horn of Gabriel, life would be grand.
The best place to live inside 285. Continently located to I-75, I-85 and I-285... and perfect for airport commuters-6 miles from downtown Atlanta. Many great restaurants and entertainment. Professional Theatre and Comedy Club. Something ft everyone. Excellent police and fire services. Friendly and diverse community. Wide range of housing options.
Its pleasant. Everything I need is near and the neighborhood is quiet. I think the only thing that sucks about Hapeville is that the cost of living is expensive. The houses are a bit older where I stay, and rent is literally $1000/month. I would like to find a small loft or a 1 bedroom within my budget but still be in the area because it's right off of I75 and I85.
