I grew up in Hanson, Massachusetts. The town is extremely safe and suitable for families. The school systems are great and make sure their students are prepared for college. There is not much around so you may have to travel to the next town over for some activities. There are a few bars that locals frequent but other than that there is not much of a night life. Many people travel either south towards Plymouth or north towards Boston for work.

Hanson is a quaint town filled with a strong community. The town is filled with small historical landmarks from the 200 year old houses to the cemeteries where minute men were buried. Everyone in the town has a story of the past that they are willing to share if you ask.
Not a great place to live. Decently safe, but nothing to do in the town. Citizens are also not involved with the town half as much as they should be.
