Hanover has been a great town to spend my teenage years in. The school is centrally located and well supported by the community. The local businesses often donate to support the things the kids want to do. The park is well maintained and great for all ages and the library always has a lot going on. There isn't a lot to do for night entertainment, but there is more in nearby Madison. The community itself is very safe and friendly. Streets are safe for bikes or dog walking.

Hanover is a great small town! It's not your typical college town, but the nearby Hanover College is looking to make a bigger, more positive impact within the tight-knit community.
I have lived in Hanover, IN for around 5 years. Moving with my family to this location was one of the best decisions of my life. The schools and residents of this area improved and contributed to not only my education but my overall character. Comparing this to where I moved from, Jeffersonville, IN, I love it and would do it all over again. Everyone is very accepting and helpful. The general atmosphere of Hanover is so easy-going. It is a breath of fresh air. Not only are you a bit away from crowed cities, but you can enjoy an amazing view of the Ohio River. I would rank this place #1 in the country. I can see Hanover expanding its reach and bringing in even more diverse people and building on to its already thriving community.
