Hannibal is a small town full of various opportunities. Hannibal is 30 minutes from Quincy IL and only two hours from Saint Louis. The location of the small town allows for more job opportunists and short commutes for quick vacations over the weekends. Hannibal has various shops and a beautiful down town area. I have always love visiting the activities such as art shows in the down town Hannibal area. The college located in Hannibal is an affordable Christian College. I do not know much about the high schools, but from my nursing observation of the preschools, I can confidently say that Hannibal has an excellent preschool program and plenty of resources to insure that the youth of the community have a good foot into education.

Always Great! I attend college here. Hannibal LaGrange is the best. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it.
Hannibal is a family friendly town with many activities to do. You can go explore caves on a tour at the Mark Twain Cave and Campground. There are many things to do at the historical downtown of Hannibal, such as visit the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum along with the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse. One of the things I like about Hannibal is the Sodalis Nature Preserve where you can go for a walk and see endangered bats fly out of the caves during sunset. Something I would change about Hannibal is to have more greenery around. Having plantation drives throughout the years would improve the environment and reduce pollution.
