Hanceville is a small close knit community where everyone knows each other. It’s a safe little town to live in. I wouldn’t trade my experiences in Hanceville for anything. I highly recommend Hanceville to anyone looking for a place to visit or live.
I grew up here and it's a very nice town. Very safe and for the most part people are respectful. The schools in town are great. It's very close to most surrounding cities, including Cullman which is just 10 minutes away. About 45 minutes away from Birmingham and Decatur. Easy access to the interstate for the most part. There are a few restaurants and businesses but there's really no nightlife considering most things are closed by 10. Not much to do for kids and teens. Overall great.
