I like that everyone knows pretty much everyone but at the same time i wish that we had more opportunities open for us like every other city. Down here, we barley have career opportunities like that and schools barley teach us what we really need to know. Well, (in my opinion). Life should be about enjoying your experience, making something of yourself and being great! I don’t feel that happiness and joy when I’m here in Louisiana. I deserve better and i know i will get better hopefully starting right now. Thank you for your time.

Hammond is a great place for everyone, from children to college students to grandparents. Hammond has so many fun things to do and so many beautiful places to see. It's home of Southeastern Louisiana University, which is a very personal and individualized college. There are many good elementary and middle schools for children to attend. Hammond is also home to Hammond High Magnet School, which has the excellent International Baccalaureate program.
Hammond is a beautiful city. The commute to work is short, and traffic is never an issue. The train that passes through the has a long cargo, but it does hold up drivers for too long. Majority of the jobs in Hammond are in the same area so students will be able to find jobs near campus. The restaurant options are very diverse and offer deals to students. The mall has great parking and the stores have great customer service. The stores also have affordable prices for any income level, some stores and offer deals to Southeastern students. I feel safe in Hammond because almost every street I turn down I see police patrolling neighborhoods.
