Rural community and slower paced life. We have access by interstate a vast majority of amenities without having to deal with the problems that come with it. Love my hometown!

This town needs activities and higher wages. The price of housing and mortgages for this town are ridiculous compared to the low income wages people receive. There is absolutely nothing to do as far as activities. The closest movie theater, bowling alley, or skating rink is 40 miles in any direction.
Hamilton is a small community of about 10,000 residents. Hamilton is home to Bevill State Community College, and several banks and restaurants. It's a place where everyone knows each other or knows of them. The crime rate is low and everyone is friendly. This community comes together when disaster strikes or a tragedy hits. Little big town living at it's best. The thing I would change is the price of fuel. Our gas prices run anywhere from 5-20 cents higher than that of surrounding towns. Also, because we are a small community we do not have a large variety of restaurants to choose from like big towns and entertainment is limited to non-existent. You have to travel 30-120 minutes for options.
