I live in Hahnville, Louisiana where I attend Hahnville High School. The school system is great but at the end of the day its still school so its not my favorite thing in the world. Honestly most of my friends live 10-15 minutes away from me which doesn't sound terrible but it isn't ideal for a high school student who pays for her own gas. To go anywhere "fun" you have to pretty much at least have to drive 15-20 minutes. But on the bright side my entire family is from Hahnville! My pappy's house is right next door and my uncle lives down my street. Its a small town but we are all very close which always ends up paying off in the end.

this area has great schools from elementary to high schools! Small town traditions are really strong such as Friday night football, local fairs, and competitions. There are lots of churches and community involvement.
I've lived here all my life and crime is very minimal and localized. The police presence is great and friendly.
There are plenty of neighborhoods in all price ranges. They all could use more sidewalks instead of ditches though.
All in all nice place to grow up.
Hahnville is a lovely little town! Not much violence happens around here and it is a generally safe place! There is not much to do here due to the area being so small, but there is diversity and it has friendly people! The property here is kind of pricey and the tax isn't really out of pocket money, but all in all, it is a good place to settle down if you seek a quiet life!
