We moved to Haddon Heights a few years back and it is a great place to raise a family. Growing up in a big spread-out town it is nice to live in a place that has a “small town feel”. Residents are friendly, Main Street is nice, and you are very accessible to Philadelphia and surrounding towns like Collingswood and Westmont. Nice tree lined streets and well-maintained homes make walking through town enjoyable. Only downside is slightly higher taxes, which is not abnormal for the area.

Lovely town with a Mayberry feel. The only peoblem is Mayberry had no diversity and, for the most part, neither does Haddon Heights.

I and my family are very safe here and our property value has increased nicely. The elementary school are great but the jr high and high school have some work to do, mainly because we need a new superintendent and school leadership (high school excepted).

There are lots of family events and well-maintained amenities such as our parks. The town is about a mile from the speed rail that takes you into Philadelphia, so a convenient location to the city. (This is a plus for work commuting of nightlife adventures.) And you are only 1 1/2 hours to the shore.
This is a very good town. We have events like the Harvest Fest. and Hoots and Howls. We are a very family friendly town, as a lot of this town has families. I feel very safe in this town, as we have a very good police department and a fire department. The public school system here is above average. The houses here at Haddon Heights are very pretty as most of them have character. We also have beautiful parks that include a frisbee-golf course, and an outdoor theater. These parks are perfect for a stroll, bike ride, or to walk a dog. Lastly, Haddon Heights is a very nice town filled with extremely nice people.
