Just your average small town. Nothing really stands out. Most people are nice. A close-knit community, a place where everyone knows everyone, a town
teeming with those who rely on each other.
teeming with those who rely on each other.
Gurley, AL is the sweetest little town in south. I have grown up there my whole life and have been so blessed by my time there. Gurley is about twenty minutes from Huntsville, AL so it is far enough away from the city to see some nature, but close enough to have everything we need. I love Gurley because of the community. My high school has been in Gurley for about 100 years and it has lots of traditions to go with it. One in particular is the homecoming parade. Adults and kids of all ages line the streets of downtown Gurley and are excited for the big game on Friday nights. This is why I love my neighborhood and have been so blessed to have grown up there.
It’s a small highway town, quiet and friendly with southern charm. Has has a groceries too, which is convenient to people passing by as well as those who live here.
