Although the town is about 20 minutes, the town is a wonderful time to relax. If you want a more chill town with much land then live there!

My family goes back generations in Gunter, and aside from our otherwise terrible city council, I absolutely love this town. If you were to move here, watch out for the city council, they're extremely political and are very corrupt.
Gunter has a small town feel but not in a bad way. It's close enough to bigger suburbs but you're far enough out to have your own space. I am not looking forward to all the North Texas traffic moving up towards us as I know it will in the next few years. Overall, it's a good town with lots of potential for growth.
