We bought our home in May 2017. Gulf Gate Village is a corridor of successful boutique shops and restaurants that contribute to the rising value of the neighborhood homes. It's close to Siesta Key, and the homes are concrete block ranch style homes that were the retirement homes for the civic generation in the mid-1970s. Landmarks include, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, The Chelsea Center, and Gulf Gate Village Library.

Gulf Gate s a nice area neighborhood. It is close to Elementary schools, Middle and High schools. The neighborhoods are child friendly and t close to the interstate and beaches. You can actually walk to the beach, it takes about 20 minutes or so. I think its good for families because there are so many children around.
I absolutely LOVE Sarasota, FL. I have lived in MI, upstate NY, and on the coast of VA.This place is by far my favorite. There is always something to do here and business is always up. The beaches, downtown, art galleries and festivals, parades, boat shows, water sports, and so much more.
