Very white city with few diversity cultures. It is a very small city with little to no nightlife, but at least there is somewhat affordability. The Gulf Breeze Schools were pretty good.
Gulf Breeze has access to beautiful beaches and views, and is a very pretty community. However, the housing market is extremely overpriced, and the city invests in all the wrong areas. There is no diversity, and not much nightlife. Sex trafficking is a huge issue in our community as well. The schools are pretty good, though. Our area is heavily reliant on the tourism and health industries.
A very nice safe town. VERY CONSERVATIVE. Most people did horrible with covid procedures and showed a total disregard for others safety, instead prioritizing their own comfort. Has nice walking paths and is very close to Pensacola Beach.
I love this area. It is easy to navigate because it is just one road. lol. I also love it because it is currently warm on January 3rd. So many critters and plants. The people have generally been cool. IHOP sucked but it is closed down now.
Overall a typical small town. Not much to do other than get food and go to the beach. Lacks diversity. Very conservative.
Gulf Breeze is a great suburb city on the panhandle in Florida. Little to no crime. Great place to raise kids in.
I've been raised in Gulf Breeze my entire life, slowly the community has expanded. We have a busy tourism season through spring and summer. I have had no problems growing up other than the lack of diversity within the community. Gulf Breeze is a beautiful town with lots of activities and beautiful beaches.
I love the tourism in the area, which provides me with the opportunity to meet amazing people from a variety of backgrounds, the efforts of the community to include and support everyone through various events and organizations, and the gorgeous beaches.
Grew up in gulf breeze. Majority of the people living here are Military retirees. Mostly aged 40-70, and white. Household income is very high, so schools are well funded. I went to the high school, excellent for academic and behavioral standards, subpar for economic opportunity. If you want opportunity you have to join the military or move away.
I absolutely love living in Gulf Breeze. There's always a ton to do, and everyone is super nice and welcoming.
They area is a close community, many people have known each other from birth. The beach is a wonderful resource, and many local events take place outside to take advantage of this. If you move here, it may take a while to find your place, but once you do, people are always welcoming.
Gulf Breeze is like a bubble. Nothing bad every comes into Gulf Breezeways. There are two bridges connecting us with larger towns and they are always backed up with traffic. Symbols like this show how sought after this small town is.
Gulf Breeze is a great and safe community with a great school. It is very small though, and there is not much diversity in the city.
Not much to do around town other than the beach! If you are looking for somewhere to vacation I would totally recommend Gulf Breeze!
Gulf Breeze is one of the only small beach towns left in Florida. It is very beautiful, and the weather is fabulous. Most locals are friendly.
The schools in Gulf Breeze are great and near lots of shops and restaurants. There are plenty of places to hang out and be social. The area is very affordable to live and do things in.
Gulf Breeze is a peninsula in south Santa Rosa County near the popular Pensacola Beach. Santa Rosa has the best public schools in the area and Gulf Breeze schools top the list. There is not a nightlife here because those types of places are nearby in Pensacola. We are getting a new 3 Mile Bridge to connect Gulf Breeze to Pensacola to be done by 2020. The beach is just a 5 minute drive and short bridge away. Gulf Breeze is lacking in restaurants but again most go to Pensacola for good food. Gulf Breeze is very safe and has the elementary, middle and high schools right next to each other. Gulf Breeze is surrounded 3 sides by water and the 4th side is the Gulf Shores National Seashore and can not be developed in any way so the closest development to Gulf Breeze "proper" is 3.5 miles down the peninsula. It's a small town and you end up knowing your neighbor. It's a great place to raise kids.
