I have lived in Grove for basically my entire life and like anything else the town has pros and cons. Many would consider Grove a retirement community that is on Oklahoma's largest manmade lake. The community is filled with people who are polite and seemed to have been raised with sound morals. Entertainment is something most would have to leave town to find anything fun to do. Summertime is when Grove shines being that the lake life is the towns attraction. With a population of around 6-7000 the community can be political and from an early age I learned how relevant that is while playing sports and such. Grove is blessed to have a very functional hospital run by an Oklahoma company by the name of Integris. I'm currently a resident of Grove but it looks like I am on my way to pursue endeavors outside of our quaint community. Grove is a safe place to live and it doesn't seem like much happens here, therefore it might be the perfect place for you to live or maybe just visit one day!

I love Grove. The lake, the atmosphere, and the locals are all spectacular! Grove is currently revitalizing our downtown by adding new shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. It is one of the best retirement towns in the nation but provides many activities for the younger generations as well.
I Love Grove, OK...been here a few years and plan to stay. The Grand Lake of the Cherokees is huge and beautiful. The State Parks all around here are clean and orderly...fishing, swimming or camping- There are rodeos, ballgames, festivals. Plenty of things to do here or within a short drive. I love retirement and enjoy this awesome Lake and it’s variety of Birds....It’s a Sweet Life.
