Grove City has a small town experience with easy access to the big city. Easy access to the interstate freeway makes for an easy commute into Columbus, opening endless employment opportunities. Grove City itself is well known for the biggest alumni softball tournament in the country. Hundreds of Grove City High School alumni flock back to the small town, the same weekend of every year, to play for their graduating class team. The alumni tournament does a huge part in promoting city pride for both current and former residents. Within the past 15 years Grove City has seen an increase in new businesses. While this adds significantly to the traffic around town, new options for dining, shopping, and lodging bring in new visitors as well as new options for residents.

Grove City is filled with hard-working people who are always willing to give back to the community. It's a patriotic city, constantly taking pride in our veterans and America. There are a lot of celebrations that take place, especially in the beautiful, historic town city. From Boo on Broadway to the Arts in the Alley parade, there is always something to take joy in in Grove City. Grove City is, unfortunately, in the school district of South-Western, which lacks communication with students. The schools are constantly making changes that make the students dread coming to school (like increasing the price of the lunches but decreasing the amount of food given). Grove City pays more attention and gives more money to the school that bears it's name, and the newest school, Central Crossing. The other two schools are left in the dust. If all schools were given equal attention by the city they call home, Grove City would be one of the best suburbs in Central Ohio.
We are one big family. Everyone knows each other and very little drama. My favorite thing is Grove city alumni weekend. Everyone who graduated from GC gets together with there class and plays softball, both men and women. There are teams graduation from the 70s to 2018.
