Set in a nice village, with surrounding country-side Groton is a great place to live. The town is walk-able with many local eateries, both the elementary and high-school, and the local park/community pool all being in the village.

I like that it is a small community. It is fairly affordable and a good location between the two nearby cities. All the basics are accessible, town electric is very cheap, and there are two very good pizza places (one even has a bowling alley!).
I have lived in groton since I was 15. very similar to my home town, small and many great people!! There are downfalls in all towns, groton seems to need help with the small drug problem that is growing, slowly but surely. over a wonderful little town!
