I have lived in Gretna most of my life and it is an okay place, but they are very much about the money. The schools "try" to stop the bad things from happening but in reality they do not do that.
The sense of community is amazing everyone helps everyone. The houses are nice, the schools are all amazing with the exception of the high school. (still act like children)
It is a small town that has some good things in it. There are some fun things such as the outlet mall and the pumpkin patch but there could be some better people here.
We built a home 2 years ago in Gretna and have really enjoyed our decision to live here! Currently not many good food options but I do feel like with the current growth rate we will see a lot of new things showing up soon. Neighborhoods are always lively and kids are always playing outside. Love that paved sidewalks are common here.
Beautiful area that can feel like a small town but still have access to the larger city of Omaha. The neighborhoods are quiet and people are fairly friendly.
Is A great place to live with friendly people, but because of this it is being inflated with people and starting to become big
Gretna is a town of about 5,000 people. The people are friendly and it is a great place to live. It is a rich place to be literally and figuratively. Overall, my experience living in Gretna has been fantastic.
Gretna is family friendly. There is not a shortage of jobs. Lots to do outside, with plenty of natural habitats. It is not a concrete jungle. Downfall is it lacks major roads so the side streets are a bit congested. Public schools care about students and their families.
Gretna has been around for a long time and has more recently become more and more populate by new housing divisions and businesses. Its becoming an even larger and better community.
Gretna is a very lovely small town. As it grows, it is changing, but I will always remember it as a tightly-knit and supportive group of kind people.
It is a small town that is growing very fast! Small town appeal of friendly neighbors and people you can count on, but the convenience of being close to a city with everything you need.
I've lived in Gretna for most of my life and it's a very nice town. Not much happens here but thats okay. Since the town is not the biggest you get to know people which I enjoy. You can easily make friends and have wonderful memories while living here.
I've lived in Gretna all my life and I love the people and neighborly kindness. This city has been a wonderful place to grow up in and the school system has educated me well. The town is very close and everyone here knows and looks out for each other. Gretna displays a very comforting and friendly atmosphere that anyone can appreciate. Every summer in July, we hold a weekend-long community festival called Gretna Days where a number of activities take place. We have parades, carnivals, beer gardens and even an annual tractor-pull. Gretna is an incredible town that continues to grow and change for the better.
I enjoyed going to Gretna High School. There is the outlet malls and now a Walmart. Gretna is a fast growing town and a great place to live
Gretna Nebraska is a great family friendly town with a good school system. Gretna is situated half way between Lincoln and Omaha. You have easy access to an efficient highway system that allows for an easy commute to either city. All sports teams are available locally for both children and adults.
