I was born and raised in Greer South Carolina. We moved to the Sharon Drive community when I was three years old. I lived there with my parents from three years of age until I got married at the age of 27. I loved my neighborhood! It was FIILED with kids my age and I formed lifelong friendships with three girls in my neighborhood. We had block parties, cook outs and my house was the talk of the neighborhood come Halloween! My dad decorated for every Halloween. The Sharon Drive community is the ipidemy of Home Town! Down town Greer was nothing but a cluster of ran down and historic buildings when we started building a life in Greer. Now Down Town Greer is what we called mini Down Town Greenville. Down Town Greer is constantly evolving and thriving. We have so many events that benefits the arts which bring people from all over to Down Town Greer.

I love living in Greer!
One can experience a small town vibe but have access to the larger cities of Spartanburg and Greenville with a <30minute drive. The same goes for traveling to the beautiful mountains of the upstate.
This town has a huge sense of community. Business owners care about more than just profit, they care about the people who frequent them.
Quaint and lovely hidden nugget of the Upstate!
Greer South Carolina is a wonderful place to live! The downtown is small but, petite and unique. If you want handmade ice cream or a delicious cup of coffee downtown Greer is the place to go. The stores have hand made products and the customer service is always amazing! Downtown is historic and adorable especially the Davenport. The one thing I would change is the roads getting fixed, it is taking the construction crew quite a while to finish the roads and it makes the experience not as great.
