Greenwood Township Reviews
My town of Sanford lies in the middle of North Carolina. I love this location because I can drive 3 hours southeast and be at the beach or I can drive 4 hours west and be at the tallest peak east of the Mississippi (Mt. Mitchell). I'm glad my parents moved to this area because the community is family-oriented and everyone looks out for each other. The crime rate is low and you can trust people. The high school is challenging and I'm looking forward to going to college. I feel this area is only going to get better because jobs are plentiful. We have major corporations that have plants here. Moen, Pfizer, and Coty are a few of the companies here in Sanford. Although, I'll be attending somewhere in NC, I'll be coming back to Sanford, NC
My interaction with law enforcement has always been a positive one. They have a very difficult and stressful job, but they are always smiling and polite to everyone of every race and nationality.
I haven't heard of a lot of crime in Sanford and I've lived there from second grade till I graduated high school three years ago. There are definitely criminals, but the crimes aren't robbery, vandalism, or graffiti; it's mostly drug selling and use.
