Peaceful and kept nice and clean. I love being here, and it is so much better than when I lived in Indianapolis. Everyone here is pretty friendly, and usually keep to themselves. Lots of places to go and plenty of things to keep you busy.
It is a very quiet town, low crime rate, affordable housing, and convenient. I have six children who attend the elementary, middle school, and high school. i have had minor issues with the school system but they are always quickly corrected. as far as the education given there has never been a problem. their are plenty of job opportunities and everything can be accessed without a car.
Greenwood is a great place to live. It is clean and the people are friendly. There are plenty of shops, but also beautiful farm land. I have been living here for 4 years now and I would not want to move. I can see myself raising a family here, and I feel safe in my neighborhood.
I like to lived in greenwood, Indianapolis. It's quiet and clean. It's many restaurant s,shopping, and Am care near by me.
For the most part, I really like it here! Everyone is very nice and I would consider to be a very safe part of Indiana. I have made many amazing friends here, all with the same interests as me. The only thing I really dislike about Greenwood is the political beliefs of most people living here are not the same as mine.
It is very family friendly and also laid back. It is just a short drive from Indianapolis and a close drive toneighboring cities and neighboring states. Has great schools and the people here are very friendly.
Greenwood is a fine city, it's just not my first choice. I am currently residing in Greenwood until I complete my Masters.
What I like most about Greenwood is that its a little city but has a lot to offer with it being small in size. First off, its largest school district, Center Grove is a very athletic and academically inclined school. It has a four out five star rating as a school coporation and has many events that help the school and the people of our community. Greenwood also has very safe and nice neighborhoods where there are alot of community events held during special times such as parades, barbeques, garge sales, and more. This is one of the friendliest and welcoming city I've ever lived in.
The salesperson for the builder was not honest with me about what kind of neighborhood I was moving into. I just moved 168 miles. I’ve been here a month and I want to move. The neighbors don’t like dogs or white people. I’ve been yelled at by a neighbor for having dogs. I have three nursing home therapy dogs. I check my yard before I let them out. I don’t allow them to bark. I also don’t walk them in my subdivision. My dogs are in my bad yard or at the dog park. This is not a fun way to live. I made an expensive mistake.
There are many great schools within the city. I have enjoyed all the activities and sports offered by the community. The food markets and restaraunts are great. I also enjoy going to the parks with my family and friends.
Nice little town. Folks are friendly, and it's got some great places to eat. Their mall is also very clean looking. This town may not be eye-catching, but it's close to Indianapolis and a good way to evade the urban crowds.
Greenwood has a lot of really nice family-friendly parks and trails around the area. There are a lot of neighborhoods that are close to necessary stores and Greenwood is decently close to Indianapolis if you are looking to explore the downtown area.
I have lived here all my life and I love everything about this place. I plan on living here for the rest of my life and to raise a family here.
Greenwood has a very small town feel, which is good in most instances, but I would like it to expand on some of it's community activities that it offers. I know there's a lot of construction currently going on around town, so hopefully that'll be coming soon.
Center Grove schools in this area are the worst. Shopping and dining is really good and offers different choices. The mall is good as well and is quite big. The city of Greenwood also has a water park/pool that many residents enjoy going to in the summer. There isn't really any nightlife here. There are no night clubs or bars.
Greenwood has nice neighborhoods with nice houses, the people however can be prejudiced, racist and conservative. I have worked in the school system there and the kids are shocked to see a Black teacher, the kids are even rude which tell you alot about their parents. If you are of color beware.
One of my favorite parts about Greenwood is the social dynamic of the place. Many people know each other, and there is a sense of familiarity between everyone. Greenwood is a prime example of community; however, I believe Greenwood is capable of growing in certain areas within the social setting. There is a clear distinction between the high class and low class. I think the city could improve by promoting communication and relationships with people of all different backgrounds.
