Greenville is a friendly community that strives to work together in times of need. It’s not unusual to see a local business hosting fundraisers, people “paying it forward” by paying for the next person’s meal/groceries, and other acts of kindness. One of my favorite things about Greenville is that we have a small group of people who crochet tiny plush animals and hide them around town in ziplock bags for kids (and adults like myself) to find!
Greenville is a small town, so sometimes it can seem a bit dull. Although it seems like the city is growing faster than it ever has, which does leave most of the community feeling excited for the future.

As someone who grew up in the city of Greenville, I can say that I love the community, the school system is great, and I feel very safe when walking to and from school. I do intend to live here as an adult and raise my family here because of how great this city is.
I've lived and attended Greenville and Greenville Public school from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Throughout my years of living here, I experienced the good and the bad. I love my school because of the classes and opportunities they offer, Friday night games and the classes they offer. The classes that helped me throughout my school years were the math classes and art classes that will help further my career as an architect. Although, there are some downsides to Greenville including the rundown downtown to the minimal restaurants they offer. All together Greenville is a great place to live and offered me a great experience from school to town life.
