I've lived and attended Greenville and Greenville Public school from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Throughout my years of living here, I experienced the good and the bad. I love my school because of the classes and opportunities they offer, Friday night games and the classes they offer. The classes that helped me throughout my school years were the math classes and art classes that will help further my career as an architect. Although, there are some downsides to Greenville including the rundown downtown to the minimal restaurants they offer. All together Greenville is a great place to live and offered me a great experience from school to town life.

People here don’t like change and I see it as a problem but the parks are well kept. It’s hard to find tecchnical or professional jobs. Some sidewalks need repair and upkeep. Their public school budget is starting to get out of hand, they built a new football field through the last tax hike vote and now they’ve voted for another tax hike in the city for the school. They have a nice flat river library. Certain parts or streets in the city is really cheap so younger people that don’t care about things live there and aren’t very appreciative of others. Some older folks who were raised in a country setting are around this area so you’ll hear a lot of different stories. I’ve noticed a few telephone boxes open around this county that people were breaking in to also.
It has many restaurants but not a lot of things to do. There's a movie theater and a decent amount of places to shop. There are places to swim, which is a bonus. I would love to add more greenery and upgrade the parks. It is a quiet town with nice neighborhoods and friendly people. I wish more places welcomed pets. However, if your car cannot survive potholes, Greenville is not your town.
