I love the downtown area especially at night. And my even most favorite time of the year downtown is Christmas. So much to see and do. Beautiful lights everywhere. We stayed at a hotel that had the ice rink below it. We felt like we were in a Hallmark Movie. Something magical about it. I wish some of the activities downtown would last longer into the seasons. Falls Park is absolutely beautiful also, just be careful after dark. Making out on the steps is not for little or big eyes to see!

Greenville has managed to find an excellent balance between small town and growing city. It has a very active artistic community and many natural/outdoor activities. It is growing quickly, particularly in the downtown area, but outside of that remains a hospitable Southern town. Its school system gets a bad rep from its students, but the Governor's School and the nearby Fine Arts Center help talented students expand and improve their artistic abilities, while the Golden Strip Career Center can provide Greenville County high schoolers with real career experience. Whether hiking the Swamp Rabbit trail, visiting Falls Park, going shopping downtown, or attending Artisphere, the hospitable atmosphere of Greenville is always welcome.
I love living in Greenville! My favorite part about living in Greenville is the downtown area. The only undesirable part about Greenville is the roads, but they are being fixed. The people here are great. The school system phenomenal. The city is big, but not too big. Falls park is probably our biggest attraction. If you like the idea of a big city life with small town people, Greenville is the place for you!
