Greensboro is a nice town very unique but not chaotic and very diverse. My family has not had any issues with anything or anyone here and it is a very interesting town. Whenever everyone in Greensboro gathers downtown it is something so diverse you see so many different people and you see so many kids running around and a lot of smiles. Yes, Greene County is a bit segregated between LakeOconee but as I said before when we all gather together that separation does not exist. The police are friendly and helpful. There are a good amount of jobs and also a lot of job opportunities. Schools are a neat place and diverse teachers and excellent teachers with interesting students. For a small town, we have what we need. The local grocery stores are well maintained and supply us with our needs. Our schools are all very good. Our sports teams are all very dedicated. Our parades are spectacular. In general, we have a very nice town that never disappoints us and anyone would love to live here.
I live in Lake Oconee. The Reynolds property gives you a lot to do even through the town is not that big.
I love the small town nature of Greensboro, but I would love to see it grow to include more places of interest for a young adult crowd.
This town can be filled with love and yet some opportunities are provided base on who you know. I would like to see town grown for younger generation. More need to be offered to students and all of them.
We do not have public transportation in this area. Mostly everyone gets around by cars.
The food and drinks near this area are very average. There are not many options to choose from which can lead you to eating the same thing over and over everyday.
The local businesses here a very poor. Some of the businesses here a run down and there aren't many options to choose from. In order for you to get everything that you may need, varying from home supplies to groceries, you have to drive 15-30 minutes out of your way to shop at different stores in different counties.
