This is a great commuter community. It's close to everything you could possibly need. Only 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, Greenwood, Fishers or Lawrence. The people of Greenfield are very active and community oriented. This is a great town to raise a family, retire or enjoy your first starter home. It is the home of the Riley festival, which is a three day event that brings everyone together in the fall to enjoy everything that Greenfield has to offer. Greenfield is family, support and welcoming to all.

Greenfield, despite not being the most exciting, has been a good place to grow up and develop as a young woman. It is a friendly and close knit neighborhood where it seems like everybody knows everyone. It has been helpful to go to the school with the same people almost throughout my entire high school experience. Small towns can have the stigma of being boring, but Greenfield tries it's hardest to not be. Between a movie theatre, bowling, and especially Walmart. It is only 30 minutes away from downtown Indy so there is plenty to do if you look in the right spots.
Growing up in Greenfield proved to be not-so-exciting. Unfortunately, there isn't much to do in Greenfield, especially for teenagers. There are a few bars for adults to attend, however, Greenfield certainly isn't an ideal location for bar-hopping. The school system is generally pretty good and will get your child where they need to be if they choose to exercise their resources.
