Greene is a great small town! The people are very friendly and the community rallies together in times of need. It is a quiet and beautiful place. I love to visit the river which is only blocks away. Backyard fires, Fourth of July Fireworks, and in close proximity to bigger cities make it the perfect little place to call home. The one thing I wish that I could change about Greene is that there would be more restaurants to choose from.

The businesses in Greene are good ran by kind and friendly people who know you by name, the prices are what you expect from a small business a little higher then places like Walmart but you are paying for the convenience of shopping local and some times it saves you from paying money for the gas to go to the nearest super market.
The weather in the area is cold, cool, and hot. Most of the time cold or some what cool but you still need a sweat shirt or a long sleeve shirt. Winter is long and really cold, spring is short and cool, summer is hot and long, and fall is short and cool to cold.
