A charming little town! I've lived here for most of my life and I've never felt claustrophobic. It's a good distance from Milwaukee. Although the downtown village area is mostly populated with old white people, it's still great asset to the small city.

Greendale is a very tight knit community. Everyone knows each others families and everyone is very kind and respectable. The schools are top tier in terms of education and athletics. Both the teachers and coaches try their best to encourage the groups of students they have and strive to help them achieve their goals. The village of Greendale is a very clean and organized community. Out of all the neighborhoods I've lived in, the village of Greendale is by far my favorite and I recommend it to anyone that's looking to move into a suburb.
I moved down to Greendale this summer to live with my aunt and uncle. It is a very safe, clean, and cute village. I would definitely feel okay about walking alone at night here or leaving the house unlocked while I take the dog for a walk. Even though it is not as a big as the city where I am from, it is located in a great area that is surrounded by lots of things to do. I think I would like to live in Greendale in the future also. The only downfall of living here is that no dentists, etc, accept my insurance, so I sometimes have to travel a little ways out
