I love the greenery of the environment. The homes and the beauty of the walking parents and kids at the nearby park makes the neighborhood very picturesque. I went to school nearby and enjoyed spontaneous walks exploring the intricacies of the architecture of the houses. I would love to live there if I could afford the property taxes.
I absolutely love the area we live in! Greenhill is the area between Hermitage and Mount Juliet off of Lebanon Road in Tn. We sit in a position where we fall in Wilson County lines, however, the half of our neighborhood falls in Davidson County lines. We have a lake that is within five minutes driving distance, and 30 minutes walking distance. It's quiet, peaceful, and safe. A police officer lives just two streets over.
We are new to the Nashville area, but as soon as my husband and I started looking for a home we have loved it. Currently, we are renting and hope to own a home (again) in the next couple years. I feel more at home here than I did in Ft. Worth, Texas - where we lived for over 10 years. I love the character and old southern charm of Old Hickory/Mt. Juliet. This is a diverse area that makes me feel accepted - comfortable. Music is very important to my family and the music scene here is amazing. The kids go to Mt. Juliet High School and Mt. Juliet Middle School. The three of them have transitioned better than we thought they would.
