I love Greeley! It is my home. I cannot say anything bad about it. I have been to several different high schools in Greeley and the education provided has set me up for an excellent future. The colleges here are diverse and have great educational programs. I feel very safe in Greeley with the police force that we have. The Greeley police department has a great rep. The culture in downtown Greeley is growing and it is becoming a more entertaining place to be. The nightlife is still growing, but it is growing. Greeley is the place to raise a family and I would raise a family here. The Real Estate Market is huge. A lot of people are moving to Colorado and Greeley is expanding to fit those needs. I would say that housing and schooling a pretty affordable. We live in Colorado so healthy living is second nature to us. Greeley is small enough that commuting is not a huge deal but big enough that we have a lot of large companies to work for that are close.

I like Greeley as a home city. It's great but I would appreciate more safety on the east side. I also don't like how socialist the public school system is getting. I believe that people should be rewarded for their work and a lot of times, I feel like I'm not supported by the administration at my school. Other than that, I love Greeley!
While Greeley is a medium sized city, growing at a pretty quick rate, there is not very much to do here. If you like big trucks, the oilfield and lots of trees, it's the place for you. Currentlu the city is booming due to the oilfield. Greeley is also home to the University of Northern Colorado. I think there are some 20,000 students of UNC living here. This is great for business during school months, but bad for business during summer, winter and spring break. The city government is starting to push more money into making the city a more active place in terms of funding fun events and things of the like. There are quite a few parks here, and a few of them are very lovely. Especially Glenmere Park. Greeley is a nice city to raise a family in. There are lots of nice neighborhoods and decent shopping/food centers. Unfortunately, the fact that Greeley has quite the large urbam sprawl is very negative. It is destroying natural habitat. Greeley also has very high quality tap water.
